For our client in the marketing sector, we led a comprehensive negotiation process for an extensive security, information protection, and data privacy agreement with a high-profile international partner. The proposed contract stipulated extremely rigorous cybersecurity standards, many of which were disproportionate to the actual risk associated with processing specific categories of information and personal data.
Our role involved carefully assessing the necessity and relevance of each security measure requested by the client. Through detailed analysis and negotiations, we successfully structured the agreement to grant the agency greater autonomy in defining security protocols, ensuring that they remained proportional to the real risk level. This approach enabled both the agency and its client to avoid unnecessary operational complexities and excessive costs that would have been out of scale with the project’s true security needs. All contract work and negotiations were conducted in English, facilitating clear and professional communication with the agency’s client.
