Tomasz Grzybowski

Practice areas: Data and Cybersecurity, Corporate Law, New Technology Business, Grants and Subsidies

I co-founded CORE Law together with Bartosz Pilc, to build a consultancy firm that embodies the principles I deeply believe in—a firm whose services I would personally seek out if I were in our clients’ shoes. Our team is not only proficient in legal area but also deeply attuned to the business realities our clients face, delivering actionable solutions and genuine added value. We approach every engagement as partners, with honesty and full commitment. I reject legal and tax opinions that, while technically correct, fail to provide clear answers or guide our clients toward decisive action.

Over the course of more than 15 years of professional experience, my expertise has broadened significantly, now encompassing corporate law, M&A contracts, data protection, cybersecurity, IT contracts, compliance, and marketing law. In recent years, I have increasingly supported clients in high-stakes business negotiations.

I manage teams of seasoned lawyers and personally oversee the most critical client projects. My strengths lie in navigating change and pioneering new solutions. Diligence, extensive knowledge, unwavering commitment, and an unrelenting drive for continuous improvement are the traits that define me.

As a legal advisor and businessman, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your organization. But first, I will listen—ensuring I fully understand your needs before proposing the best way forward.

Bartosz Pilc

Practice areas: New Technology Business, Advertising and Marketing, E-commerce and Digital Services

In my daily practice, I prioritize building close  relationships with clients, embracing a human-to-human approach, engaging in open dialogue, and striving for solutions that effectively bolster business objectives. I’m firmly convinced that legal services must deliver added value and propel clients forward in achieving their commercial goals.

For over a decade, I’ve been at the forefront of managing risk stemming from legal challenges and information security threats. I’ve successfully executed hundreds of projects in marketing and data protection. These ventures demand not only pure legal expertise but also astuteness, strategic foresight, familiarity with emerging technologies, and a deep understanding of contemporary business challenges. My portfolio spans marketing initiatives, email campaigns, marketing automation processes, GDPR implementations, data protection contract negotiations, incident response procedures, and application development. Many of these projects are international in scope, requiring fluency in foreign language and comprehensive grasp of multi-jurisdictional regulations.

I regularly collaborate with board members, marketing directors, data protection officers, CMOs, Heads of Growth, and team leaders in marketing agencies. Specializing in marketing law, data protection, and e-commerce, I focus on problem-solving rather than problem-creation. My clients benefit from my active support as an integral member of project teams. I negotiate contracts, audit websites and applications, analyze risks, craft legal content and terms of service, as well as internal policies and procedures related to personal data protection. I also frequently share my expertise through speaking engagements at industry conferences.

Maria Socha

Practice areas: Advertising and Marketing, E-commerce and Digital Services

My day-to-day focus is providing legal support to the marketing industry – from advertising agencies to any business seeking to promote their products and services within the bounds of the law. I analyze, advise, evaluate, train, and, most importantly, seek solutions rather than dwelling on problems. In essence, I’m here to help you run your business and successfully deliver marketing projects. I’m adept at rectifying errors and fully understand the urgency of ‘ASAP’ requests. One of my core principles is to genuinely avoid saying ‘it can’t be done’.

It’s crucial to understand that there’s no single law dictating what’s permissible in marketing. The marketing landscape is governed by dozens of intertwining legal acts – spanning civil law, competition and consumer protection, data privacy regulations, tax law, gambling legislation, unfair competition statutes, copyright and industrial property rights, and much more. For over eight years, I’ve endeavored to be your guide through this legal labyrinth.

I firmly believe that legal concepts should be communicated in an accessible manner. This is why I’m always eager to share my knowledge and experience through webinars and training sessions.

lawyer, lead auditor

Kamila Maciejewska

Practice area: Data and Cybersecurity

I’m a lawyer, lead auditor of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, and data protection specialist, also serving as data protection officer. My expertise lies in managing projects that ensure proper implementation of data protection regulations.

The field of data protection captivated me due to the flexibility inherent in GDPR, which allows for creative yet rigorous work. I particularly enjoy the aspect of this job that involves regular interaction with people and collaboratively implementing beneficial solutions that streamline daily operations. Audits present an ideal blend of client interaction and real-time application of regulations.

My day-to-day responsibilities revolve around ensuring clients’ compliance with data protection regulations. Beyond routine client service, I’m engaged in building data protection systems, implementing new solutions, procedures, and instructions, and conducting audits.

In relationships with clients, mutual understanding is paramount, and not just on a technical level. I believe that effective collaboration can only be built on proper interpersonal communication, including respect, support, and trust. I strive to embody these principles while assisting clients, which becomes particularly crucial in challenging, often stress-inducing situations.

On a personal note, I’m an enthusiast of miniature spitz dogs, long walks, and travel. I’m also passionate about a holistic approach to health, built on a plant-based diet and years of Ashtanga yoga practice.

data and cybersecurity specialist

Julia Cieślik

Practice area: Data and cybersecurity

I have experience in both the public and private sectors. I specialize in designing and implementing data protection systems, conducting audits, and delivering training programs tailored to the unique needs and requirements of organizations. My work focuses on creating effective, innovative solutions that not only comply with legal regulations but also address the challenges of an ever-evolving digital threat landscape.

I am a co-author of an educational game for children aimed at raising awareness of cybersecurity among younger generations. This project combines education with a modern approach, helping to build fundamental habits for safe technology use.

My greatest satisfaction comes from conducting training sessions—seeing participants engage and develop a conscious approach to data protection reinforces my belief that my work has a real impact on increasing awareness and security. In these moments, I feel that I am fulfilling my mission and contributing to a culture of responsible information protection.

Outside of work, I have several passions. I collect vinyl records, create content, and conduct interviews for a vinyl-focused platform. I also love physical activity—I have completed the challenge of climbing all the highest peaks in Poland (Korona Gór Polskich) and have now set myself a new long-term goal: exploring the world’s most beautiful mountain trails. Mountains teach me determination, humility, and patience—values that are equally valuable in my professional life.

Animals play an important role in my life, and I always enjoy discussing them. I am a proud caretaker of a dog and a cat, and my daily interactions with them provide not only moments of relaxation but also opportunities to cultivate empathy and maintain a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life.
