We supported a marketing agency in organizing two B2B lotteries aimed at its client’s business partners, with a strong emphasis on simplifying documentation to comply with legal requirements. We persuaded the agency’s client to assume the role of data controller, enabling more efficient management of participant data without additional formalities. By optimizing the documentation related to data processing, we significantly reduced the time needed to obtain the necessary permits.
One of the key challenges involved handling prize-related settlements. In collaboration with the agency’s legal and tax teams, as well as the agency itself, we coordinated the development of procedures for applying tax exemptions on non-cash prizes and the distribution of high-value rewards, such as cars.
Shortly before the decision to organize the lotteries, the client changed its legal form and was unable to prepare standard financial statements. When the regulatory authority requested a financial report to confirm the company’s current standing, we provided alternative financial documentation, which was accepted by the office.
Thanks to our effective coordination and dedicated teamwork, the client obtained the necessary lottery permits in record time—less than four weeks.
