We advised our client in negotiations concerning a major promotional campaign in collaboration with a leading retail chain. A central issue was the allocation of roles and responsibilities: while the retailer wanted to dictate the rules and draft the campaign regulations, they also attempted to designate our client as the formal organizer—despite the client having no real control over the process.

Through strategic negotiation, we successfully secured a shift in this structure. The retailer ultimately acknowledged that it should act as the campaign organizer and bear the corresponding responsibilities. We also ensured consistency between the contractual arrangements and the customer-facing communication. The result: a legally and reputationally sound campaign setup.
