We advised a client active across several Central European countries on expanding their operations into Poland. Our role was to provide end-to-end legal support for the rollout of their distance-selling model – from drafting all necessary documents (terms and conditions, privacy policy, customer forms), to organizing return and payment procedures, and aligning consumer communications with Polish legal requirements.
The main challenge was to translate a well-established business model into the local regulatory environment without compromising its effectiveness. Polish consumer protection laws differ significantly from those in other jurisdictions, and certain practices that are lawful abroad are strictly prohibited in Poland. Through close collaboration and a precise, tailored approach, we helped the client adapt their operations to the Polish market – without having to rebuild their entire model from scratch.
