We conducted a compliance audit for our client in relation to a data processor that utilizes AI-driven systems. The audit was prompted by the processor’s announcement of a new commercial partnership, which raised questions about how client data is used, secured, and potentially shared.
Our review focused on whether any data was being used for model training and whether the processor’s operations could soon fall under prohibited practices outlined in Article 5 of the AI Act, set to take effect in February 2025. We provided the client with a clear risk assessment and tailored recommendations to help safeguard their interests both under current regulations and in anticipation of new AI compliance standards.
