We assisted a foreign client from the health and wellness sector with entering the Polish market and launching an e-commerce operation for dietary supplements. The project covered the end-to-end legal setup: drafting terms and conditions, aligning with Polish consumer protection laws, and ensuring full compliance with distance selling regulations.

A critical element was navigating the product notification process with local authorities. We carried out a detailed classification of the client’s product portfolio, identifying which items required official registration and which could be marketed freely. We also performed a tailored VAT rate analysis to ensure the correct tax treatment for each product.

Beyond regulatory support, we helped the client open a local bank account – resolving a bureaucratic impasse caused by a misinterpretation of corporate documents by the bank’s legal team. Our intervention unlocked the process and enabled a swift, smooth launch of operations in Poland.
