Below, you’ll find information on how and for what purposes we process your personal data in connection with contact and cooperation with CORE Law.

The data controller is CORE Law Grzybowski & Pilc sp.p., ul. Stary Rynek 80/82, 61-772 Poznań. You can contact us via email at office@core.law or by mail at the above address.

We collect your personal data mainly from you. You provide us with your data in connection with our contact and cooperation, e.g., through email correspondence. We may also have obtained your data from someone within your organization, e.g., by being indicated in a cooperation agreement as the contact person or simply through being added to an ongoing correspondence. By processing your data, we can maintain contact and cooperation.

We process your personal data for the purpose of ongoing contact and cooperation. This also includes concluding and performing agreements related to services provided by our law firm to you or the entity you represent (e.g., your employer).

The legal basis for processing your data can vary and depends on the nature of the contact and cooperation we have with you. Most often, we process your data because:

  1. it is necessary for the performance of a contract we have with you or to take actions at your request prior to entering into such a contract;
  2. it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation imposed on us (e.g., processing data required by law during recruitment process, correspondence with administrative bodies, etc.);
  3. it is necessary for purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party, provided that your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms are not overridden (e.g., maintaining ongoing cooperation, performing contracts to which the entity you represent, such as your employer, is a party).

We store data recorded as part of our contacts and cooperation for 10 years due to obligations arising from laws concerning the principles of providing services by attorneys-at-law.

We may disclose your personal data to our service providers if the nature of their services requires access to personal data. These include:

  1. entities providing and maintaining software and digital tools necessary for our work, as well as IT support services;
  2. entities providing accounting services for us.

If our service providers process your data on our behalf, they must ensure guarantees of implementing technical and organizational solutions that protect your personal data and meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data protection law grants you a range of rights that you can exercise at any time. Your rights include:

  1. the right to access your personal data;
  2. the right to request rectification of the data;
  3. the right to request erasure of the data;
  4. the right to request restriction of data processing;
  5. the right to data portability to another data controller.

You can exercise these rights by contacting us at office@core.law or by mail at the address: CORE Law, ul. Stary Rynek 80/82, 61-772 Poznań.

If you believe we have violated the rules for processing your personal data in any way, you have the right to file a complaint directly with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

Separately, we inform you that you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if such processing is based on legitimate interests, i.e., Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

If you object, we will no longer process your data for the purpose to which the objection relates. However, please remember that we may have compelling legitimate grounds for processing your data that override your interests, rights, and freedoms. In some situations, the processing of your data may also be necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. In such cases, we will not be able to consider your objection.

You can submit an objection by contacting us at office@core.law or by mail at the address: CORE Law, ul. Stary Rynek 80/82, 61-772 Poznań.

Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Your personal data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
