Compliance

We carry out tasks in the area of broadly understood compliance for our clients. Compliance means ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with the applicable law. A typical example of compliance is implementation and application of the GDPR regulations.

What we do?

The compliance area, in addition to data protection and cybersecurity, which we describe separately here, includes:

  • Handling channels for reporting violations of law (whistleblowers) and comprehensive support in investigating reported violations,
  • Implementation and auditing of internal procedures required by applicable regulations or standards, such as counteracting money laundering and terrorism financing, labor law, intellectual property law, tax law,
  • Representing clients in proceedings before competent public administration authorities in connection with conducted inspections or investigated violations.

We do not provide legal services in the area of criminal liability of collective entities or the so-called white collar crimes. We do not carry out audits of financial statements.

Who is the specialization for?

The compliance practice is addressed mainly to medium and large enterprises, as well as to public entities. We work with management boards, decision makers, compliance officers, legal departments and financial departments.
